Karen Elbert LMSW - Psychotherapy for the Journey

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”  George Eliot (aka Marianne Evans)

"All the events and situations of life are invitations.  The quality of our lives is directly related to how we respond."                               Karen Elbert

Life has struggles. There, we've said it. Life gives us unwanted or seemingly unfair situations. Sometimes, we can even end up with questions and uncertainty from events we have been looking forward to. All this may leave us with confusion, pain and suffering, anxiety or depression.

I see these situations as invitations.....invitations to deepen our journey and become more and more of the person we were always meant to be. And, kudos to you! You have taken the the next step on your journey....one that cannot help but lead you deeper into the life you were meant to have!  It's not too late!

As we work together, we will come to know your hopes and dreams, who you are at your core. We will come up with ways to walk through struggles, this uncertainty, this pain and suffering, with resilience and grace............right along with walking toward your goals.

My unique mix of training in cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and body based approaches ......along with certification in Spiritual Direction, and a good dose of 'real world' experience, provides you with a seasoned guide to the labrynth of life!
